The positive impact that you have helped our business to make is ever lasting, and with that we want to say thank you! So, with your next purchase please use the code “TREES” for 16% off your next order, 16% off for 1,600 trees!

The importance of planting trees:

In 2022 alone, 22.8 million hectares of tree cover was lost due to deforestation and fires, and climate change doesn’t help this either. With this in mind, it is important to restore these forests to ensure a healthy future.

What trees do for you (Earth Day, 2024):

-       Trees purify our air and combat climate change. They absorb 30% of global emissions every year, and with these trees burned or cut down, all of that pollution gets released into the air.

-       About 25% of our medicines are derived from plants found in rainforests. However, as we continue to encroach on and destroy these forest habitats, we not only lose these invaluable species but also exacerbate larger environmental threats.

-       Mature trees help protect communities from flash floods and landslides by stabilising soil and absorbing between 1500 and 2000 litres of water annually. And so, a lack of trees can lead to more runoff and flooding. Tree roots also filter out harmful chemicals and pollutants from storm runoff before it reaches lakes, streams, and rivers. More trees, means cleaner water.

The trees you have helped us to plant purifies our air, rebuilds, and protects habitats for vulnerable species, and helps protect the communities of five countries in sub-Saharan Africa, making their water cleaner.

Let’s continue the good work.
